Season 2 | October 31, 2025 | LeDon's Garden
On October 31, Ledon’s Garden bloomed into a sanctuary of creativity. ArtTalks Ph Season 2, titled MaArte, was more than an event, it was a movement. From live music to daring fashion, from visual art to spoken word, the afternoon pulsed with the energy of artists, educators, and entrepreneurs who believe in the power of storytelling and community.
Held on a day when many prepare for Halloween, MaArte offered a different kind of celebration, one that honored life, light, and the courage to create. While others leaned into shadows, this gathering chose to bask in brilliance. The program officially began at four, but by ten in the morning, exhibitors were already arriving, setting up booths, exchanging contact details, and planting the seeds of future collaborations.
Camera shutters clicked non-stop. Impromptu photo shoots unfolded across the garden, capturing laughter, bold outfits, and the quiet pride of artists standing beside their work. Performers tuned guitars and rehearsed verses, while guests wandered from booth to booth, discovering handmade pieces, heartfelt stories, and kindred spirits.
For a few precious hours, the weight of the world lifted. The storm, the government scandal, the uncertainty faded into the background. What remained was joy. Connection. A shared belief that art can heal, provoke, and unite.
So let us hold this moment close. Let us celebrate this day, not just for what it showcased, but for what it stirred in us. The courage to gather. The freedom to express. The power to hope. MaArte was a reminder: even in turbulent times, we can choose to create, to connect, and to celebrate being alive.
